Sarah Houver, PhD student at the Laboratoire Pierre Aigrain, was voted the winner of “My thesis in 180 seconds” for the Sorbonne Universities Group. She was able to clearly describe her PhD topic on “nonlinear optics in quantum cascade lasers” in 3 minutes and captured the interest of a non-specialist public. She will now represent the Sorbonne Universities Group for the final of the competition at the national scale, which takes place on the 3rd June in Nancy. Good luck!
